During the car duco curing process, trapped solvents evaporate up through the paint, the result is that sediment is left behind in the porous structure of the paint.
On top of that, the paint is exposed to sulphuric and nitric acids in the atmosphere, which adhere to the duco's surface in the form of oxides.
ToughSeals first preparation step enters the pores of the paint, and removes all the sediment and impurities. This step is followed by ToughSeals Acrylic Plus P.T.F.E. Sealant, which chemically bonds to the pores of the paintwork to seal and protect. As the product cures, the P.T.F.E molecules elongate and "interlock" with each other, which has the result of an ultra tough bonded coating on the paint.
